What is a weather station based on?

This weather station is based on Arduino board connected to different sensors: temperature, humidity, rain sensor, solar irradiation, pressure, noise and a wind speed sensor in order to obtain climate data. These latter can be stored and displayed on any PC, Smartphone or electronic board.

Can a solar-powered weather station be used for agriculture?

This study presents a novel, low-cost smart solar-powered weather station that utilizes internet of things technology and is tailored to the needs of agriculture. The weather station records a range of agricultural data, including air temperature, humidity, air pressure, wind speed and direction, solar radiation, and precipitation.

How does a solar 2 weather station work?

Solar 2 Weather Stations feature the Capricorn FLX modular sensor package with mechanical wind sensors, air temperature and humidity sensors in a radiation shield, solid state barometric pressure sensor, plus panel temperature and solar radiation sensor (s) with optional tipping bucket rain gauge. Data output through the Weather MicroServer.

What sensors are included in the weather station?

The AWS is supplied with a preconfigured set of sensors for Air Temperature, Relative Humidity, Barometric Pressure, Wind Speed, Wind Direction, Rainfall, and Solar Radiation. The Weather Station is supplied with a 3m tripod style mast that is bolted to 3 small blocks during the installation.
