How do you store a lithium ion battery?

In general lithium-ion batteries should always be removed from the devices they power and stored at 60-70% of the pack’s capacity. If a battery will go unused for three more days, it should be stored in a cabinet or larger store. Once disconnected, storing lithium-ion batteries follows similar principles as the correct storage of chemicals.

How much energy can a storage battery store?

A typical storage battery from The Energy Saving Store can store up to 4kWH of energy; enough to power a kettle 37 times. How is energy stored in a battery?

One way to store it is in the form of chemical energy in a battery. When connected to a circuit, energy stored in the battery is released to produce electricity.
